Your PT isn’t amazing after all...

 

Oh you have an amazing PT? What makes you say that?

 

Is it because they make you get amazing results?

 

BRILLIANT! How did you get those results?

 

Think about that.

 

There’s a huge lack of knowledge and education when it comes to health and fitness, and a lot of PTs are creating a new extreme by making you depend on them for results.

 

It’s not your fault. The government don’t feel it necessary to teach us at school, they just feel it necessary to tax us on the foods that they claim are responsible...

 

And also. Yes we all need a kick up the ass at some point and that’s great. BUT your coach should be teaching you how to create sustainable changes for life, not making you think that the only way you can possibly be in shape is under their wrongful direction. After all, why would you want to be a slave to them for the rest of your life? Making you think that the only way to be in shape is to do it with them?

 

This is often done in two ways...

 

  1. During training

Does your trainer absolutely BEAST you to the point that you can’t even move the next day?!

Yes there is a time and a place for this, and it will potentially happen if you’re new to training or bodybuilding. But think about this, if you go for one session per week with a PT, and you can’t walk for the rest of the week, you are therefore going to move LESS and burn LESS calories as a result! Not good for those who just want to shift a few pounds...

 

What you really need is a fun and functional workout with a thorough warm up and cool down. A workout that tests your limits without injury. What you also need is an amazing community around you to make you feel like you’re not alone! You’re all in this together!

 

  1. Nutrition planning

Nutrition is my thing, I’ve lost weight, gained weight and everything in between. I know what it’s like to be on the chicken and rice diet, I also know what it’s like to still reach goals whilst eating sustainable, enjoyable meals.

 

Sustainable is the key word here. If you have a sustainable diet, then you never EVER have to diet again.

 

Some Coaches just want their next set of transformation pics for their marketing. As a result, you’re left with a bland chicken and rice diet that you simply can’t live with and end up binning as soon as your program is over.

 

Then what happens?

 

You (might) get results & rebound and put the weight back on. Then the cycle begins.

 

What you really need is a diet they includes all of the foods that you love! Whilst leaving out all of the foods you hate. - YES it IS possible! We take our clients parameters and calculate their daily intake. From this we work out how much they should be eating to create a positive body change. We can then fill in all of the gaps with plenty of choice and tasty food!

 

This is the 21st century, and we are here to tell you that you can absolutely love your sessions and get results. We are here to tell you that you can eat amazing food and still be in shape!
